Veg fried rice πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Vegetable fried rice is a staple food to south-east Asian countries. It tastes amazing when served with manchurian gravy.

Veg fried rice has become favourite for its finely chopped veggies, the seasoning of its ingredients. These are even available in street foods. 

Is that so easy to prepare ?.  Of course ! YES !. I will share you to make the easy and yummy recipe of it . Don't forget to try. I assure, you will not look for a restaurant for a veg fried rice.


Ingredients:

   For cooking rice :

       Basmathi rice - 2 cups.
       Water - 6 cups 
       Oil - 1 tea spoon
       Salt - as required

 For fried rice preparation:
      
  Carrot -    3 (medium)   - chopped
  Cabbage -1 cup             - chopped
  Beans     - 1 cup            - chopped
  Ginger    - 1/2 inch       - chopped
  Garlic    - 4 pieces        - chopped

The vegetables like peas (1/4 cup) , capsicum (1/2cup) , spring onion (4 tbsp) can also be added if you want. But the above mentioned is essential.

   Soya sauce                         - 1 tbsp
   Chilli sauce (green or red) - 2 tbsp
   Tomato sauce                     - 2 tbsp
   Salt                                    - as required
   Oil                                     - 2 tbsp
   Pepper                               - 1 tbsp
   Green chilli                       - 3 pieces


PREPARATION:

Rice preparation:

1. Soak the rice for 20 minutes.

2. To the 6 cups of boiling water, add 1 tbsp of oil and salt and add the soaked rice and keep it in medium flame for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, strain the excess water and the rice in separate.

Veg rice preparation:

1. Take a kadai, add 2 tbsp of oil , green chilli, ginger and garlic. Let it fry a few seconds.

2. Add all the chopped vegetables and salt to it. Mix it well and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes.

3. Now keep adding the soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce and give fine mix. 

4. Add the pre cooked rice to it and add pepper and give a mix.

5. Serve it with manchurian gravy.
